Specific Admission Requirements for the Master in Business Administration (MBA) - Applicants to the MBA program are required to hold a Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) from a recognized institution. Alternatively, applicants may possess a professional qualification (or a combination of qualifications) officially recognized as being equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. An undergraduate business degree is not a requirement for admission to the MBA program. Qualified students from all backgrounds are encouraged to submit applications.

  4. Evidence of knowledge of English. Applicants must submit proof of English proficiency. This must consist of at least one of the following:
  • The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination with a score of 550 (paper-based total) or above, 213 (computer-based total)
  • IELTS with a score of 6.5 or English GCSE O'Level with "C" or above.
  • Proof that undergraduate instruction and coursework has been done in English.
  • In some cases if the above requirements cannot be met, a student may be required to take the English Placement Test of the University
  5. Letters of recommendation. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation for which sheets are provided by the Office of Admissions. At least one should be from a current lecturer or employer (in the case of employed students).

Foundation Courses
MBA Foundation Courses maybe required from students who lack a business background i.e. non business degree holders, or students with less than 3 years of work experience at a managerial position. Students must have completed the MBA Foundation Courses or their equivalent at an accredited institution. Evaluation of applicant's academic record will be processed by the Admissions Office in cooperation with the MBA faculty, and any exceptions must be approved by the MBA Program Director. A student may begin undertaking MBA Core Courses upon completion of the pertinent foundation course. Credits earned with MBA Foundation Courses do not count towards the required coursework for the completion of the MBA program.
