Scholarships & Financial aid - The Universities offer financial aid to full-time students, in the form of
- Merit scholarships
- Need-based assistance
- Athletics scholarships,
- On-campus work-study programs.
Financial Aid / Need-Based Assistance - Need-based assistance is given in the form of a discount, to Local / EU students only, regardless of academic performance, as follows:
- Students who come from large families (4 children or more) are eligible for a 15% discount.
- Families, who have during the same semester, more than one child as students at the University, are eligible for a 15% discount for every additional child.
- Students who face substantial financial problems. In such cases the amount of the discount will depend on the student’s demonstrated need for assistance.
On campus Work-Study Program - A limited number of part-time, on-campus jobs are available to students who have demonstrated exceptional potential in extra-curricular activities and academic performance. Students are compensated in the form of tuition discount and/or wages. Available jobs are announced at the beginning of every semester and details are posted on the main board of the University and the intranet.

- A completed application form.
- Official or certified transcripts of secondary (high) school records. The applicant must submit an official transcript of his/her secondary school record together with the application. In order to be considered for admission, the average grade must be 80% for students coming from Greek Cypriot High Schools and 'C' and above or its equivalent for students coming from American, British or other secondary schools. Applicants who do not satisfy the above criteria, may be accepted and placed on probation. For candidates applying for admission with advanced standing, an official transcript of their previous college/university record is required.
- Evidence of knowledge of English. English is the language of instruction at Cyprus Universities. English is not a requirement for admission. Applicants whose native language is not English will take English Placement Test (EPT). Applicants who have passed either the TOEFL examination with a minimum score of 550 (213 Computer-Based), English G.C.S.E. (or G.C.E) 'O' level with Grade 'C' and above or IELTS with a score of 6.5 and above, are exempt from the EPT. Candidates whose English proficiency is not up to the University standard ill take special English Language Classes.

Cost of living in Cyprus / Accommodation (Per two semesters of study)
Accommodation in the university campus ranges from €265-€300 per student per month, depending on the housing unit you choose. Every apartment has it's own living and dining area, kitchen and bedroom and it is fully furnished with single beds, side tables, desks, wardrobes, armchairs, dining tables, and chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, oven, refrigerator. Central heating is available.
Accommodation outside university campus starts with €400/month. In case you choose to live off campus we can arrange it for you, free of charge.
Meals around €2000
Books and supplies approximately 400-500 euro. Books are not mandatory for classes. There is a Copy Centre in the university where you can copy only the chapters you need. They have a book available for every class for students to make copies.
